I challenge any other Candidates nationwide to embrace this contract if you have the courage and are running for the right reason then this should not be a problem for you , if not you Cleary dont have what it takes to lead we the people of America we have no more room for weakness, lies and corruption!
I believe in standing strong, and will speak the truth based on the facts and without fear. I will work with both parties for the good of the people who elected me, not the good of my own party and therefore when I take the oath of office I will abide by it.
I believe in the United States Constitution, our forefathers, their vision and intentions and therefore will never support any bill or legislation not in line with its fundamentals.
I believe in a two term limit, this provides for new ideas, fresh perspectives, and will also provide new guards for our future security.
I believe that education is the key to our future and a vital part of the United States and should be a major focus of any elected official, and was the vision of the founders.
I believe that corruption must be dealt with swiftly and I will bring a motion of impeachment to the table.
I will donate 30-35 % of my salary back to the people
I believe in a balanced budget and therefore will vote for a freeze in all non-essential government spending until it can be determined what we are really spending our money on, get rid of all the non-essentials, and make a balanced budget achievable
I believe that the government should not increase the financial burden on its citizenry during difficult economic times and therefore I will oppose all tax increases until our economy has rebounded. Because with a realistic balanced budget, this should not be difficult.
I believe that after more than four decades, the continued U.S. dependency on foreign oil is a travesty which needs to end as quickly as possible. Therefore I will support an energy plan that calls for the immediate increase in usage of all domestic resources including nuclear energy, natural gas, and coal as necessary, as well as support assessing alternative energy sources.
I believe in the sovereignty and security of our country and therefore will support measures to close all of our borders, except for pre-designated legal immigration points, so we will know who is entering, when, and why. I will vehemently oppose any measure that would provide amnesty, and circumvention of the US laws, to individuals that have gained access to our country illegally. I will oppose measures that will give another country, the United Nations, or any other entity, power over U.S. citizens. I believe that we should enforce our current immigration laws without excuse, and the Americans citizens should always come first

Do We Really Want a Bowler-in-Chief? Remember Nixon!
Elizabeth Edwards’ op-ed in The New York Times today aptly holds the title, “Bowling 1, Health Care 0,” as it criticizes the media obsession with Barack Obama’s bowling form and score during the past three weeks. My research shows that while cable news gasbags such as Joe Scarborough and Chris Matthews, and the entire Fox crew, were the worst offenders, the Times itself has carried dozens of references to “bowling-gate” in its news pages and blog entries. Scarborough, of course, said Americans wanted a real macho man in the White House, perhaps forgetting his unceasing attacks on Bill Clinton’s mannish behavior in office. Matthews suggested that Obama was “prissy.”
But all you need to say is: Which president was the most avid bowler? And, of course, the answer is: Richard Nixon. He even paid $400 out of his own pocket to lease automatic pin-setters and during Watergate went down the basement to roll off some tension. Actually, a search of the historical record finds that the infamous White House bowling alley — sometimes two alleys — dates back to the Truman administration. But Truman (now known as a suitably tough guy) hated bowling. I’ve found the only photo of him bowling, which was published on the cover of Kegler magazine. Sure enough, he was wearing a tie, the very look for which Obama earned much mocking. Truman was also a lefty (I mean, lefthanded). You won’t find many references to bowling when examining the lives of other “manly” presidents since, including JFK, LBJ (couldn’t even golf), Reagan, and Poppy Bush. Who was the biggest bowling advocate near the top? Dan Quayle. Nixon and Quayle. That is really something to aspire to.
In fact, the pair who might have done more bowling at the White House than anyone weren’t even males. They were Lady Bird Johnson and Muriel Humphrey, who tried to do it every week. Of course, many presidents have golfed, but are you really going to tell me that this “sport” is more macho than driving the lane in basketball — which Obama happens to be good at? The Obama/Tiger Woods analogies only go so far, thank god.

I was playing basketball over the weekend and one of the funniest moments in trash talk history happened. We were playing pick up ball at a park in LA. A guy drove into the lane and got his swatted (”his shot was blocked” for the basketball illiterate). He called a foul. This happens often in pickup ball when someone gets their sent (again, when their shot is rejected). They feel embarrassed and insist on calling a non-existent foul, as if they wouldn’t have been sent so badly if they weren’t fouled at the same time. Now, this was a little unusual because even his own team didn’t have his back. Everyone on the court pretty much agreed that he was not fouled. But nonetheless he insisted. Then someone came up with a line bound for the trash talking hall of fame, “This guy is pulling a Hillary.” That, of course, means he won’t let it go when everyone else can plainly see that the argument is over and he is the only one who still believes he is right. They called him Hillary for the rest of the game. And I laughed and laughed. The only thing worse than getting rejected is not fessing up to it. That’s called “pulling a Hillary.”

Pig lipstick: Obama laughs “Silly Season got Sillier”
Yesterday, 9/10, Barack Obama found his voice again. In response to the manufactured controversy (aka, “manufactroversy”, Google it for definition) over the lipstick remark, Barack Obama replaced the somewhat bewildered responses to McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin with a heartfelt clarity accompanied by genuine anger.
He rightly stated the McCain campaign’s continued avoidance of the key problems created by the Bush-Cheney-Rove-McCain axis–disappearing high wage jobs, insecure healthcare, dependence on foreign oil, global climate change, unaffordable college tuitions, growing poverty, decline of the middle class, a war-without-end costing $10B per month, loss of US prestige among allies, overstretched military, rising Islamic terrorism, not to mention equal pay for equal work–this time by manufacturing a controversy about his use of a phrase “lipstick on a pig” that has been used on multiple occasions by John McCain.
Obama is, like you and me, angry, and he is not going to let that happen to the American people again. Obama will make healthcare a right, not a privilege–McCain offers another market-based approach that has not worked to insure everyone or control costs for 50 years. Obama will make a living wage the right of anyone who works a 40 hour week–McCain votes against the minimum wage. Obama will make college affordable–McCain has done nothing for education in 26 years in DC, except to support closing down the Department of Education. Obama will find and kill bin Laden–McCain and Bush cut and ran and did not finish the job in Afghanistan.
McCain will have the government decide whether a woman carries a pregnancy to term. Barack Obama trusts women to make that decision. Sarah Palin will use the power of government to force a woman who has been raped to carry the rapist’s child to term.
Obama should use some humor and ridicule, it lightens the mood but the message still stings. For example, the McCain campaign feigned “shock, shock” that Obama is doing some opposition research on Palin. Suggested Barack response: “McCain chose her on a whim, so someone had to do his vetting for him”….
So, Barack–you’ve found your voice and your anger/indignation. You need both. The substance, the tone of voice, and the body language. You need all three (53% of communication is non-verbal, only 8% is the words alone!). Go across this country, into small towns and hamlets and ex-urbs and suburbs and cities, and take the side of the American people who, like you, are fed up and disgusted with the performance of the last 8 years and now the attempt by McCain/Rove to cover it up.
And, do not leave your feelings at the studio door when you debate.
Remember, Barack, Harry Truman’s response when a man from the crowd yelled, “Give’m hell, Harry”? Truman said, “I don’t give’m hell, I just tell the truth, and they think it’s hell.”
